Lose weight by eating a good breakfast

Starting your day with a good breakfast is very important. It characterizes the rest of your day, it gives you extra energy and your concentration is maintained for longer. A good breakfast even ensures that you lose weight faster.

Skipping breakfast is not wise

Many people skip breakfast. This isn’t really wise. A good start is half the battle. We don’t have time for it, we don’t have anything at home or we’re trying to lose weight. Breakfast is the most important meal of the entire day and skipping it is not an option if you are losing weight.

Breakfast is important for weight loss

A good breakfast ensures that the engine room in your body starts up again after a night (and often evening) of not receiving anything. The intestines get back to work and this stimulates bowel movements. Many studies have already been devoted to this and all indicated that breakfast is very important for the rest of the day. You have more energy and better concentration. You will also last longer without snacks until lunch. If you skip a good breakfast you miss important nutrients, such as vitamins, minerals and fiber. If you plan to skip breakfast, you will miss these important nutrients and you will be tempted to supplement this with energy-rich and fatty food later in the day.

Take time for your breakfast

The biggest excuse for not eating breakfast is that you simply don’t have time. Set your alarm and take your time. You will miss a few extra minutes of sleep, but you will get much more energy in return. If your day starts without energy, you might as well stay in bed. Prepare everything the night before, so that you can eat your breakfast in a short time.

A good breakfast

What can you eat to get those important nutrients, such as fiber, minerals and vitamins? These nutrients can be found in products such as yogurt, muesli, and corn flakes. Crackers or a tasty brown sandwich also work well. It would be best to choose low-calorie products as a topping, such as honey, fruit sprinkles, apple syrup or sandwich spread. On the other hand, peanut butter, hazelnut spread and chocolate spread are a lot higher in calories and therefore less sensible.

The best snacks

Snack wisely, eat an apple. That is a well-known statement, but it is absolutely correct. If you fancy a snack, choose wisely. Fresh fruit is usually the wisest choice. It contains natural fruit sugars, which take away the tasty cravings, making you less likely to have an unhealthy snack. A sandwich or rice cake are other good examples of snacks. You can make it as tasty as you want. A soup later in the day in the form of a broth. It contains hardly any calories and fats. A nice spicy snack that will give you lots of energy again.
